Let's talk VPPs!

With programs in 38 U.S. states, virtual power plants (VPPs) deliver over 37 gigawatts (GW) of capacity. EnergyHub and Advanced Energy United would like to invite you to a virtual site visit for commissioners and PUC staffers to learn about operations, capabilities, and impacts of VPPs.
This site visit will give attendees a chance to:
- Learn about VPPs as a demand side solution that addresses affordability and reliability.
- Discover how flexibility programs save customers money while putting their comfort and preferences first.
- See how utilities manage VPPs based on grid needs and orchestrate DERs to meet bulk and distribution grid objectives.
EnergyHub's VP of Power Systems, Paul Hines, will give an brief overview of VPPs after which attendees can decide to join one of two breakout rooms to learn more about either (1) a demand side management (DSM) control room perspective or (2) a participating ratepayer perspective.
